As a dedicated provider of neurodiversity support and coaching, we offer a comprehensive range of services that are tailored to meet your learners’ needs.
Our services include the transformative
THRIVE in Secondary Programmes. They can be run one-to-one and/or in groups, over 6 to 12 weeks.
THRIVE for Secondary Learners equips learners with essential skills and strategies to manage themselves and their learning effectively.
Educator support
- THRIVE for Secondary Educators - helps adults to implement inclusive practices and nurtures a collaborative approach to involve parents and the community. Crisis support and alternative provisions are also available when needed
THRIVE for Secondary Can Include:
Goal setting & planning
Stress and neurodivergence can impact an individual's perception of time and inhibit their confidence to set goals and plan.
By creating the conditions for learners to explore their own timescapes and learning methods, they are more able to optimise learning, improve their own organisation skills and achieve their goals.
Improving memory recall
By developing an understanding of recall cues, you can help to increase a learner's confidence in their ability to recall information. THRIVE programmes can help students develop practical strategies that enable them to learn, revise, maximise recall and increase success when taking exams.
State management
Creating the conditions where the learner can speak honestly about their experience means that they can learn how their brain works and what they need, to learn and be at their best.
Harnessing Strengths
By working to support your learners in understanding their patterns and processes and proactively identifying progress, you can expect to reduce overwhelm and increase confidence.
THRIVE programmes
Time for a new approach
THRIVE provides learners, educators and support teams with time and space to learn about themselves, their patterns and processes. This enables them to be at their best more of the time.
Through a combination of one-to-one coaching and group learning, THRIVE Hubs operate over a period of 6-12 weeks.
As part of a THRIVE Hub, you can expect to experience and develop the skills that leave participants feeling accepted, honoured and acknowledged.
Explore Genius coaches and facilitators are known for their agile approach. They are able to adapt each session to the participants’ requirements, responding in each moment to their needs.
Before working with Explore Genius, my learner would struggle with self regulation and run out of school. What I noticed is these traumatic exits became few and far between and they were able to calm themselves more quickly. They now come to me when they are struggling, to talk things through. What we have learned together is that it is better to use visual learning, rather than relying on words and verbal instructions.
It is great to know, that this learner has now progressed onto college and are enjoying their experience there.

Other Support
Crisis Support
During challenging times, our Crisis Support team can work alongside those already supporting a young person in crisis. We specialise in working together to identify effective solutions. Our coaches offer a compassionate hand to both learners and staff alike, to help ensure and maintain a supportive environment that promotes wellbeing and resilience.
Alternative Provision
For students with unique needs, Alternative Provision from Explore Genius offers tailored solutions to problems that traditional methods may be unable to address. Our trauma-informed approach supports the nurturing of diverse talents.We utilise innovative learning methods to maximise the opportunity for every student to flourish.
Working with Explore Genius helped one of our pupils to be who he is, in front of adults he would otherwise never encounter.
It is a testament to you and the other organisers that you have been able to engage and inspire a young pupil like them who has such a complex profile.
I have no doubt the project has contributed to his increased boost in self-esteem and confidence. This was certainly a hands-on experience with tangible results that had a real commitment to diversity and catering for our young people with additional needs - we need so much more of this!
