We are coaches, advocates and educators, dedicated to optimising the conditions for both neurodiverse and neurotypical people in the workplace. We work within the education, corporate, health care, and third sector fields.

Tina Mayfield

Founder and Lead Facilitator

Tina, the founder and CEO of Explore Genius, is an experienced coach and team facilitator with over 30 years’ experience with all aspects of learning and leadership. Having worked as a teacher, lecturer and consultant Tina has an understanding and passion for creating the environment to thrive and learn. 


Tina drives initiatives with a focus on promoting  wellbeing by appreciating diversity with its potential to enrich productivity.  Bringing organisations and individuals together to ‘be the change they want to see in the world’, encourages genuine, powerful, sustainable change. 


Tina brings creativity and imagination to every project. She advocates for environments that enable individuals to recognise their strengths, create solutions and thrive by being able to advocate for their needs. 


Tina is both a humanitarian and an environmentalist. She is called to develop  initiatives that support inclusive strategies. She helps people access their potential and share their gifts in the workplace in order to bring greater balance and connection to the world.

Sheryl Andrews

Workplace Strategy Coach

A mother of a blended family of 5, who has worked from home and run international events as an independent coach for over 25 years, Sheryl is no stranger to juggling multiple outcomes. She is highly skilled in developing strategies to stay motivated whilst communicating effectively to support others in  adapting to change.


As a certified Clean Language facilitator and a personal performance coach, Sheryl has the ability to listen exquisitely and then adapt her style to suit your needs. 


Sheryl thrives on creating a plan, mapping out processes and enhancing  your relationship with time. Her step-by-step approach will help you understand, appreciate and connect with your own unique way of working. Sheryl will help you develop the confidence to advocate for what works best  for you.

About us

Explore Genius has supported thousands of neurodivergent individuals, finding out how they can learn, work and live at their best, most of the time.


We believe that we all have genius potential and many lack awareness of how to confidently tap into it. When we are able to access that wisdom, thriving becomes possible. 


By training individuals' attention on maximising their strengths and developing strategies to support  their weaker areas, they can remove barriers that prevent them from thriving. 


In 2006 we began delivering THRIVE  programmes across the UK within education.  These were designed to help learners develop  confidence and self-esteem. 


Since then we have also been invited to create bespoke THRIVE  programmes tailored to meet specific needs within the corporate field plus those  of health care and the third sector. 


Whilst every environment is different,  all  of our  THRIVE programmes are  founded on the same core principles  and models. Each programme is designed to increase awareness of  opportunities to improve collaboration and maximise inclusion.


Our highly qualified, experienced  coaches and facilitators are either neurodivergent themselves or they have spent most of their time working in the  field of neurodiversity. Each one brings the richness of their own lived experience of what works and how to help you find your own way to thrive.
